For those using the Weather To Fly Interactive CD Tutorial, or filling out the Weather To Fly Log Book, this page explains how to use this web site.

1. At the top, center of the Weather To Fly home page is a "Summary of the Weather To Fly Information Resources" with the appropriate weather links. (At the bottom of the page are other links.)

2. Click on the weather links to view the current weather conditions and make observations.

3. Minimize the web browser to return to the tutorial to learn how these observed conditions may affect you and your aircraft. Note this in your Log Book.

4. Go to step 2 (above) for each of the Weather To Fly concepts until you complete your Overall Wind and Local Conditions Source Preparation sections of your Log Book.

5. Once you have completed your Source Preparation, review the tutorial on "The Flying Site", so when you head to your site you can evaluate the conditions there to finalize your decision of whether to fly.

6. Record flight and how the air was in your Log Book. This is especially important for future reference.
